Our mission
Meet needs, pray with purpose, and connect people to jobs — helping restore dignity and lasting hope.
Our story
The Well is a Christ-centered outreach to people experiencing homelessness. We bring real, practical help to the street — and we stay to offer something deeper: dignity, friendship, and hope.
Why we exist
Everyone matters. Not as a slogan, but as a way of moving through the world. The people sleeping on our sidewalks are not problems to be managed — they are neighbors, made in the image of God, with names and stories and futures.
So The Well goes to them. We carry food, water, clothing, and hygiene supplies, and we offer something money can't buy: time. We sit, we listen, we pray, and we look for ways to help people take the next step forward.
What began as a few people showing up has grown into a steady, hands-on outreach across Phoenix, Arizona and Eastern Washington — fueled entirely by volunteers and people who give.
Why “The Well”
A well is where a community comes for what keeps it alive. It's a place of meeting, of rest, and of living water — freely given to whoever is thirsty.John 4 · The well at Sychar
Our purpose
Our mission
Meet needs, pray with purpose, and connect people to jobs — helping restore dignity and lasting hope.
Our vision
To see lives transformed through Jesus Christ — where every person experiencing homelessness is restored in dignity, equipped with opportunity, and empowered to step into a life of purpose, stability, and hope.
What guides us
We exist first to be a witness to Jesus Christ in everything we do — through our words, our actions, and our love for others.
Every person is created in the image of God. We treat each individual with honor, respect, and compassion, no matter their situation.
We don't just speak hope. We meet real needs — providing clothing, hygiene, and resources that make an immediate difference.
We aim for long-term transformation, not just short-term help — creating pathways toward jobs, stability, and independence.
